What rang through your mind the second your name was called as the winner?

This was my first year competing in ANTSO. After getting first runner up at the GA State Pageant, I wasn't sure if I would go on to compete at Nationals. BUT, I can't tell you how glad I am that I did. The GA director, Mrs. Renee, is absolutely amazing. She made sure all the GA girls were ready for every competition. We had a fun filled Saturday at her house before coming to Nashville! She even came to Nashville as well to support all of us. She reviewed onstage questions with me the day of the final competition and I got one of her questions! So, I knew what I would say. It was such an amazing week. I meet so many wonderful girls. Any of them would make a great ANTSO queen.

I had so much fun at Bingo Night, the Wildhorse Saloon and all the rehearsals. When it came time for the actual competition, I was very nervous. My favorite competition is definitely Personal Expression. Mrs. Tabetha Dupriest did an amazing job on my jeans! When it came time to announce the top 5, I was the last one called. We finished competing, and it was finally time to crown the new ANTSO Sweetheart Queens. When my name was called as the new 2010 Miss Jr. National Sweetheart Queen, I just couldn't believe it. I could hear my mom, sister, Mrs. Renee and my GA Sister Queens screaming and clapping in the audience. I was so happy! We immediately started taking pictures, but my mom finally made it to me with tears in her eyes. I could tell by the look on her face how proud of me she was. I had worked so hard and it finally paid off.
